TNR Program for cats in Cyprus
Fedon Cat TNR is a registered non-profit organisation based in Nicosia, Cyprus. We work to support both animal welfare and community well being through humane Trap- Neuter-Return (TNR) method.
To date, more than 2,285 cats have been sterilised and returned to their territories through our program.
Our work helps to maintain a stable and healthier cat population, improves living conditions of cats in residential areas and reduces the pressure on municipalities.

Our Mission
Our work focuses on the humane management of stray cat populations through a structured and responsible approach. This begins with identifying and monitoring cat colonies to understand their size, health, and needs. We then organise safe and ethical trapping methods to ensure the cats are handled with minimal stress or harm. Once in our care, each cat receives sterilization along with basic veterinary treatment to improve their wellbeing and prevent further overpopulation. After recovery, the cats are carefully returned to the same environment where they were originally collected, allowing them to continue living in familiar territory while contributing to a more stable and healthy colony.
